Meghan Trainor is no stranger to life on the road, balancing her music career with the challenges of motherhood. “I’m a world traveler. I travel all the time,” she shared with Travel + Leisure. She knows exactly what’s needed to make travel a little more enjoyable — and it’s all about being prepared with the right items. Recently, Trainor teamed up with E.l.f. Beauty to curate the Cloud Skin Bundle, a set of travel-friendly beauty essentials for long journeys. We spoke with Trainor about her new collaboration, the products she can’t live without, and her tips for staying fresh and rested while jet-setting around the world.

Before we jump into her favorite travel essentials, I had to ask Trainor about her biggest travel mistake. “I was flying from Australia, and I left my mouthguard in the middle compartment,” she revealed. “It was devastating, and I’ll never forget it. I’ve tried to replace it, but none of the new ones fit right — they all hurt.
