Many dedicated Minecraft fans have shared some stunning builds throughout 2024, though one player has recently shared an especially creative build project featuring Hisuian Typhlosion, a creature from the Pokemon franchise. This impressive Minecraft statue of the Pokemon was built in reference to the Pokemon “teraleak” that occurred earlier this year, which to many, stands out as one of the most consequential events that has occurred in the world of gaming in 2024.
For those who weren’t privy to the flood of never-before-seen Pokemon content across social media towards the end of this year, these massive Pokemon leaks gave fans insight into just about everything from beta Pokemon designs to scrapped games, features, and story content. These leaks covered just about every generation in the Pokemon series of games across the past couple of decades, even giving fans a small glimpse into what to expect from future projects, such as Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which is set to release at an indeterminate point in 2025. Of course, some leaked content quickly gave rise to new memes within the community that circulated quickly around the internet.

Minecraft Player Builds Incredible Golden Mewtwo in Survival Mode
A talented Minecraft player online builds an incredible statue of Mewtwo from the Pokemon franchise out of gold while in Survival Mode.
One fan of the Pokemon franchise known as Significant_Onion6 decided to close off 2024 with a Pokemon-themed Minecraft build featuring Hisuian Typhlosion in light of the leaks. Despite being a three-dimensional build, this fantastic statue of the Pokemon almost looks like it could be a pixelated 2D sprite for the critter thanks to its detailed color gradients. It seems the project was put together in a superflat creative world, and features a wide variety of different blocks to accommodate its range of colors and ghostly, transparent flames.
What to Expect From The Pokemon Franchise in 2025
The Pokemon Company has offered little public reaction to the widespread leaks throughout the latter end of 2024, though the publisher’s plans for 2025 very likely remain on track. With Pokemon Legends: Z-A first being revealed in February this year during the annual Pokemon Presents event, fans have been astonished to find that The Pokemon Company still hasn’t offered any elaboration on its next major project after nearly a full year.
It has been a remarkably quiet year for fans of the Pokemon series, unusual given the franchise’s tendency to keep players occupied with some sort of major release each year. Aside from the scraps of content gleamed from the leaks, practically nothing about Pokemon Legends: Z-A is known beyond what was revealed in its reveal trailer. Still, the upcoming title has much of the Pokemon community seriously excited, though it’s quite possible that nothing new about the game will be seen until Pokemon Day 2025.

Minecraft
Minecraft is a game made up of blocks, creatures, and community. You can survive the night or build a work of art – the choice is all yours. But if the thought of exploring a vast new world all on your own feels overwhelming, then fear not!
Minecraft has no set goal and can be played however you’d like! This is why it’s sometimes called a “sandbox game” – there are lots of things for you to do, and lots of ways that you can play. If you like being creative, then you can use the blocks to build things from your imagination. If you’re feeling brave, you can explore the world and face daring challenges. Blocks can be broken, crafted, placed to reshape the landscape, or used to build fantastical creations.
Creatures can be battled or befriended, depending on how you play. The world of Minecraft allows for epic adventures, quiet meditations, and everything in between. You can even share your creations with other players, or play in community worlds!
