The Advance Payments Program, delivered through 26 industry associations, covers over 500 crop and livestock products across Canada, benefiting approximately 13,000 producers, potentially saving them collectively up to $65 million. Additionally, farmers can access other business risk management programs to assist in mitigating risks threatening their farms’ viability.
