A new flight route makes a warm-weather getaway to Florida easier, and cheaper.

Frontier Airlines recently launched service to Miami International Airport from the Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT. In celebration of the new route, Frontier is offering discounts with one-way fares as low as $49. 

The service officially began on February 13, 2025, and operates three times a week, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The $49 discounted fares are available for purchase through April 21, 2025, and can be used for travel until May 21, 2025. Travelers should carefully review the terms and conditions as there are several blackout dates, and the promotional price does not include taxes and fees.

“For both Hartford-area consumers looking for adventures in the Sunshine State, and for Floridians excited to explore New England, this new service will be a game changer in both convenience and affordability,” Frontier Airlines Vice President of Network and Operations Design Josh Flyr shared in a news release.

While the fare sale extends over the popular spring break travel season, Miami Beach has aggressively warned spring breakers that bad behavior is not welcome in the community. The local government has stepped up security and is enforcing ordinances that prohibit late night partying.

Frontier currently operates several flight routes from Bradley Airport including Atlanta, Orlando, Raleigh-Durham, and Tampa. The airline also recently introduced service to San Juan, Puerto Rico, which provides travelers the opportunity to connect to additional Caribbean destinations, such as St. Maarten or Santo Domingo where Frontier operates routes.
