Darwin Escapes’ New Pines Holiday Home Park has completed a series of upgrades aimed at enhancing the experience for holiday homeowners ahead of the summer season.

The redevelopment includes improvements to entertainment, dining, and recreational facilities at the park, which is located near Dyserth and Rhyl.

Among the enhancements are an upgraded indoor swimming pool with a new tiled floor, a revamped bar restaurant, and an expanded entertainment complex.

The Cabaret Lounge stage area has been improved, and additional amenities such as a snooker table, table football, pool tables, and air hockey machines have been added to the games room.

Landscaping and an outdoor seating area have also been introduced to elevate the overall guest experience.

Shaun Roberts, group head of sales at Darwin Escapes, emphasized the company’s ongoing investment in the park to meet the expectations of caravan and holiday homeowners.

“The upgrades we have made over the winter months have been significant,” he said in a report by NorthWalesLive. “The feedback from owners has already been incredible and I’m sure the facilities will prove very popular, especially over the summer as the weather improves.”

New Pines Holiday Home Park, which has more than 300 caravans and lodges, has long been a preferred destination for families from the North West, Staffordshire, and the Midlands.

According to Roberts, the latest improvements reinforce the park’s appeal while maintaining its strong community atmosphere.

“The park was already looking good following improvements in past years but looks even better now, and in addition to a revamp of our dining, entertainment, outdoor, and games areas, we have also upgraded the gym equipment and technology,” he said.

For business owners in the holiday park sector, New Pines’ investment highlights the growing emphasis on enhancing on-site amenities to attract and retain long-term homeowners.

As competition in the industry increases, upgrading infrastructure and providing diverse leisure offerings can help parks differentiate themselves and drive customer loyalty.

The addition of exclusive facilities also presents opportunities to introduce flexible access models, potentially broadening revenue streams through limited visitor access or special promotional events.

New Pines has also seen a rise in sales activity, with Roberts attributing the interest to the park’s latest developments and overall appeal.

“We have seen an increase in sales recently, and with the raft of improvements and the significant investment in past months I’m sure more people will be joining us ahead of what looks like being a very busy season once again.”

As the holiday park industry continues to evolve, operators investing in guest experience and facility upgrades may see a competitive advantage, particularly as consumer expectations shift toward premium amenities and enhanced recreational spaces.
