Via Tformers, the Fans Hobby MB-29 The Blaster Team Impact Gun Squad Toy is based on the Space Team from Transformers: Armada, which some fans will recognize for their powerful combined form. Large and in charge, these bigger takes on the characters are in scale with some of the most prestigious high-end toys in the franchise. Now available to order, this three-member team is ready to blast off into fans’ collections.

Newest Third-Party Transformers Figures Recreate a Legendary Armada Weapon
As noted, the Fans Hobby MB-29 The Blaster Team Impact Gun Squad Toy recreates three Mini-Cons from the Transformers: Armada anime. In this case, the Space Team consisted of Payload, Astroscope and Sky Blast, who turn into a rocket transport truck, a space station and a Vostok rocket, respectively. Along with their individual robot and vehicle modes, they also combine into the Requiem Blaster. This was one of the three legendary Mini-Con weapons in Transformers: Armada, with the power of the gun able to unite further with the Star Saber and the Skyboom Shield to create the Hydra Cannon. The toys don’t seem to be able to dock together in vehicle mode like the original figures, but their features and designs overall are the exact same.
The Fans Hobby figures are meant to be in scale with the Transformers: Masterpiece figures. This includes other third-party Transformers: Armada action figures from the developer. The set is currently scheduled for release in February 2025, and it can be pre-ordered across different websites for around US$37.99. Fans Hobby figures for the Skyboom Shield and the Star Saber (sold in a ruddy “Red Saber” variant) are also available, allowing fans to collect modernized versions of each of the “Hydra Cannon” weapons. The third-party toy company specializes in unofficial figures from Japanese Transformers anime and the Unicron Trilogy, so the Blaster Team Impact Gun Squad is just one example that’s soon to join fans’ collections.
