OHI has announced its first regional conference, OHI Connect, which aims to deliver cost-effective professional development to RV park and campground owners and operators.

Scheduled for March 26, at Cherry Hill Park in College Park, Maryland, the event invites participants to enhance their strategic skills through networking and peer-led educational sessions.

The conference targets owners and operators seeking to overcome financial hurdles, sharpen business strategies, or expand their knowledge of the industry.

Open to both OHI members and non-members, the event provides a valuable opportunity for collaboration and learning in a budget-friendly format. OHI members can register for $175 and receive an additional free registration for a guest.

Designed to take place at member-operated parks, the conference reinforces OHI’s dedication to supporting its community. Event sessions will focus on addressing industry challenges, identifying opportunities, and promoting data-driven management practices for outdoor hospitality businesses.

Morning sessions will cater to different park sizes, focusing on tailored strategies for increasing revenue and reducing operational costs.

Afternoon workshops will also cover advanced topics such as marketing innovations, crisis management, and guest engagement, with each 75-minute session blending expert insights with hands-on collaboration.

An optional Capitol Hill Experience on March 27 offers participants a deeper understanding of OHI’s advocacy initiatives. Attendees will visit Washington, D.C., to engage in discussions aimed at reinforcing the voice of the outdoor hospitality industry with policymakers.

Coinciding with the conference, the Maryland Association of Campgrounds (MAC) will hold its annual meeting at Cherry Hill Park earlier that week.

To further support industry growth, sponsorship packages are available at Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels. These sponsorships provide companies with a chance to increase visibility among key stakeholders in outdoor hospitality.
