Outside Interactive Inc. has acquired Inntopia, a provider of booking and business intelligence solutions for the travel and hospitality industry.
The acquisition integrates Inntopia’s software with Outside’s content, mapping, and event services, forming a technology platform to streamline adventure travel planning and enhance revenue opportunities for businesses in the outdoor and tourism sectors.
Inntopia’s platform, which supports over 200 resorts and destinations across North America, Europe, and Australia, enables multi-vendor bookings and offers access to a broad range of third-party distribution channels.
According to a press release, the acquisition aims to create a seamless experience for travelers while providing new revenue-generating tools for businesses in the adventure travel industry by combining this technology with Outside’s extensive audience and partner network.
