Pokemon TCG Pocket has officially revealed the first merchandise for the massively popular mobile TCG, with “paper theaters” of the game’s immersive cards and some stylish accessories. The newest mobile version of the beloved trading card game has seen overwhelming success since its debut in late October, already amassing millions of players throughout its first five months. The game has already reported sales topping $100 million and has introduced three new sets to the game, most recently adding the “Shining Revelry” set with Shiny Pokemon cards. Now, the mobile TCG is set to receive its own merch.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has introduced plenty of major changes to the game throughout its first few months, bringing plenty of fan-requested features. The mobile TCG introduced trading to the game in early 2025, though the system was much maligned by fans for its steep requirements to trade cards with friends. TCG Pocket also recently added a ranked mode for its online battles, allowing players to test their skills and deckbuilding against others in a more competitive environment. The Pokemon Company has now revealed an exciting new venture for the game’s fans.

New ranked rewards in Pokemon TCG Pocket are making players happy as they explore the mobile game’s new ranked match tier system.

As reported by ComicBook, Pokemon TCG Pocket recently unveiled its first wave of official physical merchandise, set to release in Japan in early April. The Pokemon Company will debut three “Paper Theater” displays with some of the game’s initial immersive cards, featuring the artworks for Mewtwo EX, Pikachu EX, and Charizard EX. The merch drop will also include a sacoche bag, coming alongside a keychain of Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s Pack Hourglasses, a smartphone strap, and special commemorative coins. The Pokemon TCG Pocket merch will officially release on the Japanese Pokemon Center website on April 3, with a physical release on April 5.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is Releasing New Merchandise

Pokemon TCG Pocket‘s first line of official merchandise comes as the game’s most recent sets have already offered sweeping changes to the game’s meta. Triumphant Light and Shining Revelry introduced a wide range of powerful Supporter cards to the game, with both Irida and Iono making a major impact on competitive decks. The pair of expansions have also offered several new options for players to build decks around, including Shining Revelry’s Giratina EX and Triumphant Light’s Arceus EX.

Pokemon TCG Pocket looks to maintain its strong early momentum with plenty of content said to be on the way for the mobile TCG. April will bring several new promotional events to Pokemon TCG Pocket, with The Pokemon Company giving out free Trade Tokens and featuring both a Pawmot drop event and a Fighting Type Mass Outbreak focused on Lucario ex. Pokemon TCG Pocket is also expected to introduce another new expansion to the game, with TCG Pocket‘s sixth set planned to release on April 30. Pokemon TCG Pocket fans should have plenty to be excited about in the game’s future.
