While fans have been led astray by the visuals in series trailers before, based on the teaser, the animation production in Record of Ragnarök will get the animation it deserves after the travesty of the first season, which many fans described as “a slide show”, but it eventually saw some improvement with season 2. Record of Ragnarök III will be directed by Tokyo Revengers director Koichi Hatsumi, with Afro Samurai screenplay writer Yasuyuki Mutō writing the series’ scripts, character designs by Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima, and Naruto and Fairy Tail composer Yasuharu Takanashi doing the music. This season’s animation production will be by Yumeta Company in collaboration with MARU Animation (backgrounds, Drifters).
