The Mike Molino RV Learning Center will host a Fixed Operations Workshop during the 2025 NTP-STAG Expo in Aurora, Colorado, offering dealership personnel insights into upcoming training and certification programs. The workshop, scheduled for Jan. 20, will include a detailed overview of the center’s latest online course for service managers, set to launch early in 2025.

The workshop will be led by Patrick Calpin, RVDA’s director of partnerships, and Tony Yerman, a fixed operations consultant for the RV Learning Center. The session aims to equip parts and service professionals with tools to improve operational efficiency, manage growing customer demands, and enhance employee retention through professional development.

Fixed operations play a critical role in the RV dealership ecosystem, particularly as more consumers enter the market or return for service needs. With repair event cycle time (RECT) being a key concern, the workshop will focus on strategies to streamline parts and service workflows. The session will explore practical methods to address these challenges, ensuring dealerships can effectively manage customer interactions and expectations.

The session’s agenda includes practical steps to help service managers handle the increasing number of customers seeking maintenance or upgrades for their motorhomes and trailers.

Professional development and ongoing training are central to the RV Learning Center’s mission. The new online course for service managers will add to the center’s growing portfolio of educational resources. These courses provide new hires and experienced professionals with opportunities to refine their skills, adapting to evolving industry standards and customer expectations.

“The session will also provide information on the new Learning Center’s fifth online training course for service managers. Expected later in 2025, this course will complement the existing online training already available for service writers/advisors, parts specialists, parts managers, and warranty administrator staff,” a press release indicated.
