The Spring 2025 edition of RV RoadSigns, the quarterly industry forecast prepared by ITR Economics for the RV Industry Association (RVIA), projects wholesale shipments between 333,400 and 366,800 units in 2025, with a median estimate of 350,100 units.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, RVIA President and CEO Craig Kirby stated that while interest rates continue to challenge the market, indicators point to steady consumer demand.
“After seeing wholesale shipments finish 2024 up seven percent at 333,700 units, we are cautiously optimistic that the industry will see further growth over the course of the year,” Kirby said. He noted that the ongoing appeal of RVing supports a positive retail environment.
If the industry meets the 350,100-unit projection, it would represent a five percent increase over the previous year. The forecast anticipates 313,300 towable RV shipments, reflecting 4.8% growth, while motorhome shipments are expected to rise 5.5% to 36,800 units.
To provide further insight into the forecast, RVIA is hosting a webinar featuring ITR Economics on Friday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern. The session will delve into the data and offer analysis on key industry trends shaping the market outlook.
