The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has unveiled its schedule for in-person training courses set for April 2025, reinforcing its commitment to equipping RV technicians with industry-backed education.
The program, designed by experts, provides hands-on, competency-based training to enhance technical skills and support career advancement.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, the Level 1 course will take place from April 21 to April 25 at the RV Technical Institute’s headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana. This training is structured to provide technicians with essential diagnostic and repair skills critical to servicing RVs.
Through its subscription model, the institute allows dealerships to enroll all their technicians for an annual fee of $1,575 per location.
Individual technicians, including mobile service providers and newcomers to the industry, can access the training for $630 per year.
Recognized as the industry’s gold standard, RVTI’s curriculum is developed with input from suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, and independent technicians. This collaboration ensures the program remains relevant and effective in addressing industry needs.
The institute offers both in-person and online training options to make certification accessible to a broader range of professionals. This approach supports the growing demand for skilled RV service personnel across the industry.
Technicians who complete the Level 1 course gain foundational knowledge in RV systems operation and troubleshooting, preparing them for further specialization through Level 2 training.
