The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) will offer in-person Level 1 and Level 2 technician training courses throughout February 2025. These courses, held at the RVTI Campus in Elkhart, Indiana, aim to provide hands-on, competency-based education for individuals looking to enter the RV technician field or advance their skills.

According to a News and Insights report, the Level 1 course will take place from February 17-21, offering a one-week immersive experience designed for beginners. The Level 2 course will run from February 24 to March 14, over the span of three weeks, providing more advanced training for technicians with prior experience.

Both courses are part of the RV Technical Institute’s curriculum, which is developed by industry experts, including professionals from suppliers, manufacturers, dealers, and independent technicians.

RVTI is recognized for providing the gold standard in RV technician training, backed by industry-leading certification and career development opportunities. The institute’s subscription model allows RV dealerships to train their technicians for an affordable price of $1,575 per location.

Individual subscriptions for those looking to enter the field or as mobile technicians are also available for $630 per year.

These courses are crucial for meeting the growing demand for skilled RV technicians, as the RV industry continues to expand.

RVIA, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Elkhart, Indiana, serves as the trade voice for the $140 billion RV industry. Representing more than 500 manufacturers and component and aftermarket suppliers, the RVIA plays a pivotal role in the production of 98% of all RVs made in the United States and about 60% of global RV production.

The association also works closely with its members to drive growth and innovation, advancing the RV market and contributing to the expansion of outdoor recreation.
