RVDA members are bolstering professional development within the RV industry by contributing to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. This 501(c)(3) charitable organization focuses on providing affordable and accessible training opportunities for RV dealership employees across the United States.
Recent donations from members highlight a commitment to fostering education and professionalism within an evolving industry.
During the second half of 2024, numerous RVDA members stepped forward with significant year-end contributions exceeding $1,000 each. Notable donors include Tacoma RV Center, which contributed $5,000, and Wave Express, which made the largest donation of $50,000.
Among the contributors are individuals and organizations dedicated to fostering professional growth within the RV industry. Notable donors include Bob Been of Blue Compass RV, Byerly RV Center, Camperland of Oklahoma, LLC, and Gib’s RV Superstore, each contributing $1,000. Hilltop Camper and RV, along with McClain’s RV Superstore and Priority One Financial Services, Inc., provided $2,000 each, reflecting their commitment to enhancing training opportunities.
Additional contributors include Parkview RV Center, Profit System Dealer Service, and Ray Wakley’s RV Center, each donating $1,000. Reines RV Center, Inc., stood out with a significant contribution of $4,500.
These donations play a crucial role in enabling the RV Learning Center to provide affordable training for industry professionals. These donations, collectively nearing $75,000, underscore the industry’s dedication to maintaining a well-trained workforce.
The RV Learning Center offers courses at $150 per student, ensuring affordability for dealerships and their staff. Training programs cover essential roles such as service managers, service writers, parts specialists, and warranty administrators.
According to a press release, RVDA President Phil Ingrassia emphasized the importance of these contributions in sustaining the center’s mission. “The RV Learning Center offers affordable, online learning opportunities for front-line dealership staff,” Ingrassia said. “These substantial contributions will support continuing education for the RV industry.”
Major philanthropic support has also come from The Ron and Lisa Fenech Family Foundation and The Kindlund Family. The Fenech Family pledged $500,000 to establish the RV Dealership Employee Emergency Relief Program, while the Kindlund Family expanded their endowment for the Kindlund Family Scholarship program to $370,000 from its initial $270,000.
