The event highlighted the resort’s contributions to local tourism and its role in enhancing Salida’s reputation as a destination for outdoor enthusiasts and visitors seeking high-quality accommodations.
Opened in March 2023, Salida RV Resort is situated along the Arkansas River, offering more than 1,600 feet of scenic riverfront access. Nestled within the Collegiate Peaks mountain range, the resort is located just 2.5 miles from Salida’s historic downtown, making it an attractive option for visitors seeking both natural beauty and proximity to local attractions.
With year-round availability, the resort provides full hookup RV sites designed to accommodate diverse traveler needs.

Originally from Vernon Parish, Louisiana, Gerbig relocated to Salida in 2017, bringing her own RV and immersing herself in the town’s culture.
