Now over 20 years old, Soul Eater was once one of the biggest shonen anime and manga franchises out there. Now, fans can celebrate the brand’s history with stylish new watches.
Having already produced similar items for several anime brands, SuperGroupies is now releasing items derived from Soul Eater. Based on Maka, Death the Kid and other characters from the franchise, the timepieces combine class with fandom as only SuperGroupies can. These are just some of the items that SuperGroupies is offering as part of the collaboration, and fans have less than a month to pre-order theirs.

The Clock Is Ticking to Pre-Order SuperGroupies Soul Eater Watches
The main items in the SuperGroupies Soul Eater series are a duo of watches, with these based around different character pairings from the anime and manga’s story. One of these is based on Death the Kid (the son of the Grim Reaper in the series’ lore) and his weapons, Liz and Patty Thompson. The Death the Kid aesthetic is the most obvious, with white stripes resembling his hair, while the watch hands evoke the Thompson sisters. The second watch option is based around Maka and Soul, with the watch hand resembling Soul in his scythe form, while the red/black color scheme evokes Maka’s skirt. These each retail for 22,000 JPY (~US$145), making them high-priced but high-quality must-haves for fans of Soul Eater.
Also available are crossbody wallets/shoulder pouches that are somewhat analogous to a small backpack. These have slots for smartphones, coins and cards, allowing users to replace their pocket wallets for something a bit more accessible. The wallets have the same aesthetics as the watches, with the main emblems being Death the Kid’s hair logo and the smiling Soul emblem that’s used as a mascot for the franchise as a whole. These cost 14,300 JPY (~US$94). Now available for pre-order until March 10, 2025, the items will be shipped out around the middle of May. International Soul Eater fans can also order the collection, with SuperGroupies bringing the watches and wallets to customers across the globe. Created by Atsushi Ohkubo, the Soul Eater manga has over 20 million copies in circulation, with Ohkubo’s later series, Fire Force, eventually revealed as a prequel.
