Millie Bobby Brown has a strong connection with Netflix, and she’s one of the most lucrative actors in Hollywood. With a role in the hit series Stranger Things, as well as one of 2024’s biggest films, Damsel, and the Sherlock Holmes spin-off film series Enola Holmes, Brown recently premiered a new movie, the big-budget, star-studded The Electric State.

It’s evident from her credits that Millie Bobby Brown is only getting started. The 21-year-old is also a businesswoman with her own beauty and fashion line, Florence by Mills, and has an estimated net worth of $14 million. However, the actress has been very open about growing up without money and revealed that she uses a lot of finances for her animal rescue organization. She told BBC Radio 1 that she has 62 animals on her and her husband Jake Bongiovi’s farm in rural Georgia.

The post-apocalyptic sci-fi film premiered to one of the worst ratings of the year.

I have 25 farm animals, and then I have 23 foster dogs, and then I have 10 dogs in my house that are my personal dogs, and four cats,” she said about her busy farm. She also revealed she got “single beds” for her pets, as her husband set strict rules about the animals’ sleeping arrangements. “I have gotten them real single beds. Only one is allowed in the bed now because Jake said, ‘No more in the bed.'”

She noted that she has a rottweiler, a golden retriever, a Great Dane, and “an 18-year-old blind dachshund called Rigby.” Brown explained she found Rigby “left on the side of the road” over a year ago and decided to take him in because she assumed he didn’t have long to live. “I took him thinking, ‘He’s not got long left, he’s blind, can’t find his way through,'” Brown recalled. “Well, this dog is jumping on my couch now. It’s found a new lease [on] life.

Brown added to the happy story, saying, “He is thriving. I mean, killing it. Knows the house. I feel like he’s becoming unblind. He starts to look around, and he knows where the food is and the bedroom is. He’s getting really good. I used to call him Rigor Mortis because I really thought he was on his way out. He is nowhere close to death. Let me tell you, this dog is — he is killing it.

The actor discussed her animals in a new interview to promote the film, The Electric State. The video, designed as an interview between the Damsel version of Millie and The Electric State version, includes questions about her goals, her vacations, new slang, her love for Taylor Swift, as well as her pets. Her present self asked her past self to “name all of our pets.”

As Damsel-era Brown did, her present self added, “Past Millie, babe, we upped it.” She explained, “We have a lot more animals now. We have a Great Pyrenees now.”
