Suburban, an Airxcel brand manufacturer of RV water heaters, furnaces, gas accessories, and steps, has appointed Chris Robinson as its new general manager, effective March 27.
In his new role, Robinson will oversee daily operations, focusing on customer service, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Robinson brings nearly 20 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations. His background spans multiple industries, with expertise in leadership, operations, and strategic development.
“Chris brings with him a wealth of experience in leadership, operations, and strategic growth, having worked in multiple industries throughout his career,” said Anthony Wollschlager, Airxcel’s president and CEO.
“Chris’s diverse background in driving business success and fostering team collaboration will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our presence in the RV market,” Wollschlager added.
Robinson is a military veteran and a member of the American Society for Quality and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality, an MBA from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and materials science from UCLA.
Suburban, headquartered in Dayton, Tennessee, has been manufacturing RV components for more than 75 years. The company became part of Airxcel in 1998 and continues to provide heating, cooking, and water heating solutions to the RV industry.
Airxcel, Suburban’s parent company, designs, manufactures and distributes a wide range of products for the RV industry. The company operates 14 facilities across the United States.
