Sun Outdoors has joined the Harvest Hosts Campground Partners Program, adding more than 80 of its campgrounds to the Harvest Hosts platform.
Through this partnership, Harvest Hosts Members will receive a 12% discount at participating Sun Outdoors locations, expanding options for RV travelers and strengthening ties between campground operators and the growing RV community.
The collaboration is part of Harvest Hosts’ broader effort to enhance its Campground Partners Program, previously known as CampersCard.
With the rebranded initiative, Harvest Hosts Members and previous CampersCard members gain access to over 1,500 participating campgrounds, making it easier for travelers to locate and book stays through the Harvest Hosts platform.
This move positions Sun Outdoors properties within a network that reaches thousands of RVers looking for unique and convenient overnight experiences.
“Bringing Sun Outdoors into the Campground Partners Program is exciting for us both,” said Joel Holland, CEO of Harvest Hosts.
“Our goal is always to provide the best camping experiences and unbeatable value to our Members. The addition of Sun Outdoors Campgrounds expands our reach and enriches the value of our Campground Partners Program, giving our Members even more places to explore and enjoy.”
For campground owners and operators, partnerships like this present opportunities to attract a new segment of guests who actively use membership-based services to plan their travels.
By integrating with Harvest Hosts, Sun Outdoors strengthens its visibility among RV travelers seeking a mix of resort-style amenities and natural settings.
As the outdoor hospitality industry continues to evolve, leveraging technology-driven platforms like Harvest Hosts can be a strategic approach to increasing occupancy and fostering guest loyalty.
Beyond its core service of offering unlimited overnight stays at wineries, farms, and attractions, Harvest Hosts’ expansion into campgrounds reflects a broader trend of diversifying RV stay options.
Sun Outdoors, with its extensive portfolio of RV resorts, vacation rentals, and glamping accommodations, aligns with this trend by offering a range of experiences suited to different traveler preferences.
“We are committed to supporting local campgrounds and businesses, and this partnership helps drive more visitors to these wonderful campgrounds,” Holland added in a press release.
As more campgrounds explore digital platforms to attract travelers, collaborations such as this underscore the importance of leveraging industry partnerships to drive guest engagement and revenue.
For Sun Outdoors and other campground operators, aligning with established RV membership networks could provide a competitive edge in an increasingly dynamic market.
