The all-star cast of ’70s sitcom Taxi found another reason to reunite Monday.

Tony Danza, Marilu Henner, Judd Hirsch, Carol Kane, and Christopher Lloyd met up to watch their former costar Danny DeVito accept the Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theater at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s gala at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The show’s cocreator, James L. Brooks, also attended.

Noticeably absent were their late costars, Andy Kaufman, who died in 1984, and Jeff Conaway, who died in 2011.

The group cheered on the Cheers alum and current member of the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia cast as he was feted for his work over the decades on and off Broadway.

Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch captured a photo of them all onstage together.

“Pictured are some of the friendliest celebs I ever did meet,” she captioned it.

Taxi, which aired from 1978 to 1983, followed the lives of New York City cabbies employed at the Sunshine Cab Company, and it was a big hit. During its five-season run, the show scooped up an impressive 18 Emmys. It continues to be available to viewers by subscription streaming on Paramount+.

In 2018, Danza even told EW that he would be interested in revisiting the series in a reboot or revival.

“When I think about Taxi and how integral it was to my life and who I am, it’s almost like a temple,” Danza said. “It was so great to work there. I would love to see it.”

While their latest reunion was significant to fans, it was just another event in a line of many for the famous friends. They’re regularly seen supporting one another. In August, Cane even told PEOPLE that the actors see one another too often to consider their encounters actual reunions.

“The fact is that we have kept each other’s company in a close and loving way for all these years since Taxi,” she said. And even the pandemic couldn’t keep them apart. “During COVID, we were even luckier because Zoom became this thing, so that no matter where we were in the world, we could have and did have regular Zoom meetings.”
