  • The Inn of the Five Graces will hold five celestial glamping expeditions in 2025.
  • Choose between the “Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition” to get access to one of New Mexico’s f most underrated historic sites or the “Taos Perseid Meteor Shower Expedition” to see the annual astronomical event in style.
  • Both options include overnight stays at The Inn and include fun bonuses such as film screenings, evening cocktails, and insightful lectures.

With its iconic adobe architecture and vibrant arts scene, Santa Fe is one of the most popular destinations in New Mexico. However, one of the city’s hotels is a destination in and of itself: The Inn of the Five Graces. This eclectic property earned the top spot in Travel + Leisure‘s World’s Best Awards in Santa Fe for two years in a row—and now, it’s bringing back one of its most popular offerings, the celestial glamping expeditions.

The Inn of the Five Graces is located on the country’s oldest street, in its oldest neighborhood, Barrio de Analco. The adobe property is known for its 26 bespoke rooms, which are fancifully decorated with Silk Route artifacts. However, one highlight is the selection of experiences the property organizes, including its astronomically inspired glamping journeys—and there are five opportunities to catch one in 2025.

  • April 25-28: The Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition
  • May 25 – 28: The Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition
  • Aug. 11-15: Taos Perseid Meteor Shower Expedition
  • Aug. 21-24: The Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition
  • Sept. 19-22: The Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition

The “Mysteries of Chaco Canyon Expedition” will give guests access to the “Machu Picchu of North America,” aka Chaco Canyon National Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a significant landmark of the Pueblo peoples. During this trip, travelers will have the chance to participate in celestial-inspired events, such as stargazing beneath a new moon (the September option will take place during the fall equinox) and a sunrise hike to watch the morning light cast shadows on distinctly New Mexican geographical features like the Fajada Butte and the expansive San Juan Basin.

Alternatively, guests could choose to embark on the “Taos Perseid Meteor Shower Expedition,” which will take place during the annual astronomical event. After setting up camp at The Inn’s private basecamp near Taos, travelers will learn to bake horno bread (a traditional Pueblo staple), explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Taos Pueblo, paddle and ride horseback through the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument, and witness the Perseids via an expert-guided stargazing session.

Regardless of which experience they choose, participants will be able to enjoy multi-course meals paired with New Mexican wines and luxe glamping amenities such as roomy tents, memory foam mattresses, and eye-catching Southwestern textiles.

“These journeys invite travelers to not only witness the Southwest’s stunning landscapes but to connect with its timeless spirit in a way that transforms the mind and heart,” Angelisa Murray, CEO & Founder of Heritage Inspirations, which the inn is collaborating with, said in a statement to Travel + Leisure. She added that she feels the experiences are an “unforgettable tapestry of discovery.”

Through these experiences, the property hopes guests will feel more connected to the unique landscapes, culture, and history New Mexico has to offer.

“Astrotourism has become one of the most popular trends in travel for 2025,” said Kevin Geanides, managing director of the Inn of the Five Graces. “Learning about the region’s history and culture through celestial events in these iconic locations is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while visiting the Southwest.”
