Kaitlyn Dever and Alycia Debnam-Carey are ditching post-apocalyptic expanses for real-world drama in Netflix’s latest limited series. The newly released trailer for Apple Cider Vinegar, an upcoming eight-part drama, showcases the two performers in a scintillating story of deception and the dark side of wellness culture—a far cry from their The Last of Us and Fear the Walking Dead credits.
Per Variety, the series, based on Beau Donelly and Nick Toscano’s book The Woman Who Fooled the World, dives into the culture that enabled Gibson’s fraud and the fallout of her web of lies. Apple Cider Vinegar is written by Samantha Strauss (The End), with Dever also acting as an executive producer on the project.
