One Piece fans are in for a treat this April as Crunchyroll continues the home media release of the “Wano Country” story arc. In addition to One Piece, Crunchyroll is also releasing brand-new Blu-ray releases for anime hits like Shangri-La Frontier and Classroom of the Elite.
April 2025 is shaping up to be another excellent month for Crunchyroll’s Blu-ray releases. Per a press release, the anime streaming giant will ship out new Blu-ray volumes of ongoing shows like One Piece and new streaming hits like Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers. These upcoming releases will also feature the complete collection of shows like Berserk of Gluttony Season 1 from 2023.

Crunchyroll’s New One Piece Physical Release Is the Perfect Home Media Combo for Anime Fans
Among the upcoming April releases is One Piece – Collection 37. This DVD/Blu-ray combo release collects Episodes 892-916 of the One Piece anime TV series by Toei Animation. These episodes continue the epic storyline of “Wano Country,” where the Straw Hat Pirates go up against the Beasts Pirates and their leader, Kaidou of the Beasts, on an island modeled after Feudal Japan. Collection 37 will be released on April 8, 2025. As with previous One Piece releases, the Collection 37 Blu-ray will include a textless version of the opening theme song.
“In the Land of Wano, Luffy races to get Otama to a doctor, and Zoro escapes execution before they battle Beast Pirate Basil Hawkins together,” the description for Collection 37 reads. “Later, after a close call with Holdem, Luffy links up with Zoro, Law, and co., fleeing on a stolen food cart. The group then heads to Oden Castle, where they hear the country’s history until a drunken Kaido attacks – leading Luffy to take him on.”

April will also be a great month for fans of Shangri-La Frontier, as the second half of Season 1 will be released on April 8, 2025, on Blu-ray. Episodes 14-25 are included in the upcoming Blu-ray, completing Season 1. Episode 14.5, the special recap episode of Shangri-La Frontier, will also be included as a special feature. Additional special features include textless opening and ending theme songs and a promotional video. Shangri-La Frontier was among the top 10 best anime of 2024, as voted by CBR.
