Check out the new video from Oxford Social Sciences, where Max shares his journey with this project.
The University of Oxford’s Social Sciences Division has featured our founder, Max Roser, in a short video about Our World in Data as part of their Innovation Stories series.1
In the video, Max shares his journey with Our World in Data, which he started ten years ago as a small, personal side project — it was the background research for a book he wanted to write.
Since then, the publication has grown much more than Max ever anticipated. In the last five years, we’ve had more than 750 million page views. And we are cited tens of thousands of times each year by major news media, academic researchers, and governments worldwide.
