Happy Friday, CBR Community!

Before we get into this week’s roundup, we first wanted to talk a bit more about our current redesign on the forums!

We’ve had this new forum template optionally selectable for the past two weeks. We’ve worked out some bugs. We’ve made sure everything is present (and, as well, some options that weren’t available within the prior design have surfaced). We’re feeling good about the look and the functionality.

Starting on Monday, this forum design will become the default.

Change is hard, and we know that. For that reason, we’ll keep the old design alive in the Preferences section for the next four weeks. Just know that, after that point, it’ll go away. We’ll base any future forum tweaks and improvements off of that design, and to achieve that, we’ll need everyone on the same look.

With that: let’s take a look at what’s popping off this week in the Community:

  • Cool things happen when different companies come together and let their properties collide. Which of these have been standouts for you? (Your favorite intercompany crossover is?)
  • Sticking to crossovers — how would you feel about Batman and Deadpool potentially teaming up or butting heads? Is that something you’d sign up for, or does that get a big “no thanks” from you? (Would Batman and Deadpool be a good crossover?)
  • Nintendo is busy lately! We just recently had a Nintendo Direct stream focused on original Switch games. In a few days, we’ll have another exclusively for the Switch 2. How are you feeling about these Directs? Any games you liked from the first? And what are you hoping to learn about the Switch 2 in the second? (Two Nintendo directs in 7 days!)
  • The NFL season is still several months away, but members of the Community are already getting started talking about next month’s draft and free agency moves. What are your thoughts so far about what’s gone down and what’s still to come? (NFL Regular Season 2025)
  • Gail Simone is a renowned comics writer who also happens to hang out as a member of the CBR Community. Gail’s “Ask Gail Stuff!” thread has been running since around this time last year and we’ve been so fortunate to get some fun insights and answers from this award-winning industry vet. Is there something you’ve ever wanted to know about comics? Jump in! (Ask Gail Stuff!)

You don’t need an account to read anything within the CBR Community forums, but you do need one if you want to respond to threads or create your own. The latter option sounds more fun, doesn’t it? Register now and join the gang.

We’ll be back next week with another edition of the CBR Community Roundup. Until then, take care of yourselves and enjoy the weekend.
