While the quarantine zone of Atomfall isn’t the kind of place you’d expect to do some light reading, there are a bunch of comic books hidden all over that you can pick up. These are based on real classic comic books from the 1950s, and you can even read a few pages of each one you find in the menu.

Atomfall: Lunchbox Locations (Packed Lunch Trophy Guide)

Players will need to uncover some long-buried lunchboxes in Atomfall to complete their trophy lists and grab some additional loot.

Finding all 10 comics will earn you the Avid Collector achievement/trophy, but it won’t be easy since some of them are stashed away in some very hard-to-reach places. Luckily, this guide will show you where you can find each of these comics.

All Comic Locations In The Quarantine Zone Of Atomfall

Comics will typically be sitting out in the open waiting for you to take them, although some can be looted off of corpses. When you find one, you’ll be given the option to either pick it up or read it if you want to see what’s inside. It’ll then be added to your menu in the Collectibles section of the Investigation tab.

eight of these comics can be found out in the quarantine zone. Here’s where you can collect them:

Comic 1 Location (Jet Ace Logan: Evil In Orbit)

This is the first comic you might find. It’s in the bunker where your character wakes up. After you make your way through the bunker, you’ll enter a wide open area with an outlaw roaming around. There will be a room on the right side of this area. Head inside and look at the back to find this comic sitting on a rusty barrel.

Comic 2 Location (John Steel: Special Agent)

This comic is inside a building near the Waterwheel location in Slatten Dale. Its coordinates are 27.9 E, 74.9 N. Enter the building, head upstairs, and you’ll find the comic sitting on a canvas.

Comic 3 Location (Lion Annual 1962)

In the northwest part of Slatten Dale are the remains of a ruined convoy. Around here is a waterfall at coordinates 22.9 E, 78.3 N. Go behind the waterfall, and you’ll find a corpse with the third comic book on it.

Comic 4 Location (Jet-Ace Logan: 10 Days To Doom)

The next comic is on a bench outside the Wyndham Garage in Wyndham Village. Its coordinates are 35.6 E, 79.3 N.

Comic 5 Location (Captain Condor: Mystery On The Moon – Lion Issue 248)

The fifth comic can be found at the Grendel’s Head ale house located at the coordinates 34.2 E, 79.3 N in Wyndham Village. Head inside, go upstairs, and you’ll find this book next to a toilet in the ladies’ bathroom.

Comic 6 Location (Captain Condor: Mystery On The Moon – Lion Issue 260)

Just outside of Wyndham Village is the Village Outskirts in Casterfell Woods. At the coordinates 27.6 E, 85.5 N is a house. You’ll find this comic sitting in a wooden box next to a bed.

Comic 7 Location (Rick Random In Sabotage From Space)

Datlow Hall is found at coordinates 26.2 E, 85.4 N in Casterfell Woods. Enter the manor, and you’ll run into Prudence Rook. Ignore her, use the ladder that’s in the dining room, and you’ll find the comic on the right side of this upper level.

Comic 8 Location (John Steel: One False Step)

There is only one comic book in all of Skethermoor. It’s found at Nora’s Barn at the coordinates 41.8 E, 77.5 N. However, Nora has boarded up the house to prevent anyone from getting inside. You’ll need to watch out for traps and look for a door leading to the cellar. Enter that door, and on a bench to the left will be this comic.

All Comics In The Interchange In Atomfall

There are two comics inside The Interchange. They’re both in areas where getting hit with the infected status is fairly common. So before you go looking for these books, you may want to learn the Strange Tonic recipe to cure any infection you may pick up.

Here’s where to find the last two comics:

Comic 9 (Jet-Ace Logan: Planet Of Fear)

To find this book, you’ll need to have restored power to Data Store Alpha. You can then head to the lower level of this data store and exit out a door into an area that leads to the Medical department. From the lower level of Data Store Alpha, go right to an entrance that will have a sign next to it with directions pointing to Medical, Wyndham Village, and Casterfell Woods. Go through those doors and up the stairs.

You’ll want to go into the first room you encounter upstairs. Be cautious, as this area will be full of Ferals. If you have a bow, you can take them out with headshots. Otherwise, be ready to waste some ammo on them. Investigate this room while also watching your infection build-up. In a corner, this comic will be sitting on a chair.

Comic 10 (Rick Random And The Planet Of Terror)

This will likely be the last book you will find. It’ll be easy to miss as it’s the most hidden of all the comics. You’ll need to have activated all four Data Stores with Atomic Batteries and opened up the way to Oberon. Travel through the area before the Oberon Dig Site.

Head through this zone past a misty area with Ferals. Go through a tunnel to find a grassy area. Run to the right past some Thralls, head upstairs, take out the Feral at the top, and then go right. Stick to the wall, and you’ll find a gap you can squeeze through. On the other side will a B.A.R.D. Crate for you to open along with the tenth and final comi
