The Dark Souls franchise is known for its high level of difficulty, formidable bosses, large variety of weapons and armor, and grim locations. Some would argue that, out of the installments of the trilogy, Dark Souls 3 is the toughest and most complete of the lot. Not only does this game introduce locations like the Cathedral of the Deep and allow for simple respeccing, but it also serves as an epic conclusion to the Dark Souls journey.

As you progress through the game, you’ll often find yourself in situations where you’re dying constantly to a tough enemy. If you’re not quick about recovering your lost Souls and die again, you’ll lose them forever. This can be very frustrating and inconvenient, but luckily, there are some ways around this — namely, a Ring of Sacrifice. Here’s where and how to get Rings of Sacrifice in Dark Souls 3.

Where To Find Rings Of Sacrifice In Dark Souls 3

Rings of Sacrifice in Dark Souls 3 can be a great advantage to have, as they allow the wearer to die once without losing their Souls. This can come in handy when you’re facing a formidable enemy or carrying a considerable number of Souls and haven’t been able to spend them yet.

Here are all known locations to get a Ring of Sacrifice within Dark Souls 3:

  • Sold by the Shrine Handmaid at the Firelink Shrine for 5,000 Souls. You can get a maximum of three when you give her the Hollow’s Ashes or Yuria of Londor’s Ashes.
  • Sold by Yuria of Londor for 5,000 Souls. You can get a maximum of three.
  • Received by trading Loretta’s Bone with Pickle Pee, Pump-a-Rum Crow at the top of the Firelink Shrine.
  • Looted from some remains at the High Wall of Lothric. Specifically, on a wooden tarp above the entrance to the area where the Red Knights’ bodies are. For reference, this is where the massive Winged Knight is.
  • Found on a ledge in the castle ruins within the Road of Sacrifices.
  • Found on the Consumed King’s Garden’s elevator.
  • Found on the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley river.

It’s important to remember that Rings of Sacrifice only work one time and will break upon death. Make sure you’re wearing yours before crossing any boss fog.

Can Rings Of Sacrifice Be Farmed In Dark Souls 3?

Unfortunately, the answer is no, as there’s a limited number of Rings of Sacrifice spread throughout Dark Souls 3. They should be used sparingly. However, with the total number of rings being seven, you’ll be hard-pressed to need more if you use them wisely. Rings of Sacrifice should only be used when you have a ton of Souls and are about to enter a tough area — not before.

If you die and drop your souls, you can equip a Ring of Sacrifice on your journey to retrieve your Souls to reduce the risks — dying in this scenario will keep your big pile of dropped Souls exactly where they are for another attempt.

If you still accidentally lose your Souls, there are some great Soul-farming locations that you can take advantage of to make up for it in no time.
