Having a strong cast of characters is important for an RPG, especially one like Avowed that puts a heavy emphasis on dialogue choices and moral dilemmas. Thankfully, Avowed‘s voice cast is generally very strong, with everyone doing a great job of repeatedly cementing Obsidian Entertainment’s trademark tone that carefully balances high stakes and levity.

Players will meet a plethora of memorable characters during Avowed‘s 20+ hour runtime, ranging from conniving villains to reluctant heroes and plenty in between. Of course, some of the most memorable characters are Avowed‘s companions, many of whom might sound familiar to those who have been gaming for some time.
