Where there’s smoke, there’s typically fire. With all the recent rumors of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 coming our way soon, that’s a likely reason why there’s a substantial sale going on right now for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. If you’ve yet to pick it up, you can land it for 60% off right now on Steam, Xbox, and the PlayStation Store.

10 Pro Tips To Dominating Online Multiplayer In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2

The first great Tony Hawk game since multiplayer became the norm, countless Pro Skaters are testing their skills against each other online.

If you’re not up on the news, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 sale comes following several indications of something new in the pipeline for the Tony Hawk series. Earlier this week, pro skater Tyshawn Jones let slip on a radio show that a new project was “about to come out” soon. Just a couple of days after that, a new Call of Duty Black Ops 6 trailer, featuring a collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, included a not-so-hidden Easter egg hinting that something could be revealed in the Tony Hawk world on March 4, 2025.

Following the new Black Ops 6 trailer, we speculated that the Tony Hawk franchise could be cooking something up for March 4. But that speculation turned out to be unnecessary, as Activision themselves recently unveiled a countdown on the official Tony Hawk website, indicating that something fresh is poised to be revealed.

Following the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, the plan by Activision was to follow up its success with a sequel in the form of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. However, for reasons kept within the company, Activision canceled the project – much to the dismay of passionate Tony Hawk fans.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4‘s cancelation was a blow to many. However, in a blockbuster move, Microsoft officially acquired Activision not long after. With a new parent company in charge, many fans hoped that Microsoft would reignite the franchise’s flames and slot 3 + 4 for active development. As it turns out, those prayers appear to be answered, with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 seemingly on the way.

This deal is digital only. To enjoy 60% off, you’ll have to order directly from Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation (the Switch version is also not included).

On Steam and Xbox, the Tony Hawk 1 + 2 sale only lasts until February 24. The PlayStation Store sale runs until February 27. Regardless of where you download it, Tony Hawk 1 + 2 is almost universally regarded as the best in the franchise. Do yourself a favor and experience one of the best remakes of all time at a super-cheap price.
