As an action-based battle shonen series, Yu Yu Hakusho is not typically seen as a particularly romantic series. Nevertheless, a new wave of promotional items and images are set to sweeten things up this Valentine’s Day.

As part of a collaboration with Anique Co., Ltd., new Yu Yu Hakusho items will be sold with the theme of “chocolatier.” This includes different products showcasing the cast of the anime in chef’s outfits holding delicious confectionary delectables. Soon available to order, these are easily the tastiest (or tastiest-looking) Yu Yu Hakusho products around.

Naruto Returns to Its ’90s Roots With New Vintage Anime Camera Release

Anime’s most popular ninja, Naruto Uzumaki, features in one of two new retro-themed camera releases scheduled to drop in March this year.

Only the latest of many Yu Yu Hakusho branding collaborations, Anique Shop’s “Chocolatier” Yu Yu Hakusho items feature exclusive new anime-style images by artist Nori. Depicting the main cast of the iconic anime franchise, the characters are seen in shirts fit for the kitchen as they showcase different desserts and sweet treats. They’re even surrounded by sweets, with a bouquet of what appears to be whipped cream floating behind their heads. Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei, Kurama, Fox Kurama and Koenma all look downright dapper amid their delicious desserts, and fans can satisfy their visual sweet tooth with the official items from this collaboration. These include trading badges, jewel can badges, acrylic stands, diorama acrylic stands (which include chocolate bars behind the characters), heart-shaped acrylic blocks and clear cards that all showcase these images. The prices are as follows:

  • Badges: 1 pack 440 yen (~US$2.86) / 1 box (6 pieces) 2,640 yen (~US$17.18)
  • Jewel Can Badges: 1 pack 550 yen (~US$3.58) / 1 box (6 pieces) 3,300 yen (~US$21.48)
  • Acrylic Stands: 1,650 yen each (~US$10.74)
  • Diorama Acrylic Stands: 3,850 yen each (~US$25.06)
  • Mini Acrylic Blocks: 880 yen each (~US$5.73)
  • Clear Cards: 440 yen each (~US$2.86)

There will be 3,300 items total available during the collaboration, which will last from Valentine’s Day 2025 to March 16, 2025. For every 3,300 yen purchase (~US$21.48), customers will also receive one of six random bromide photographs for free. The Yu Yu Hakusho items can be purchased from the Anique store itself or online, although the latter option means that they won’t reach international customers in time for Valentine’s Day. Still, they’ll make the perfect gift for fans of the iconic anime and manga franchise, adding an element of culinary coolness to brand.
