Recent Zenless Zone Zero leaks have revealed two new combat Bangboos for Version 1.7, one of which is a recurrent character from a previous event. Zenless Zone Zero will soon launch its 1.6 update, but developers have already teased new content for the subsequent patch.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 is scheduled for March 12, and with it comes the debut of three playable characters: Trigger, Soldier 0 Anby, and Pulchra. The latter will even be given for free to players through a limited event. After fans have shared multiple theories about Anby Demara’s past, Zenless Zone Zero will finally delve deeper into her background. The 1.6 update is also expected to add an important main story chapter regarding Lycaon’s former faction, Mockingbird, and his relationship with the mysterious Hugo Vlad. Players first encountered Hugo in-game during an event in Version 1.5 involving Bangboo. Now, new leaks point at Hugo’s Bangboo joining the roster in the 1.7 patch.

The video shows the new units, Overtimeboo and Robin, interacting in the game’s Bangboo selector menu. Players might remember Robin as the Bangboo affiliated with Mockingbird and Hugo Vlad in the Bangboo dress-up event. The leak is backed up by another report from Donutleaker that revealed the new Bangboo’s rarities, suggesting that Robin will be an S-Rank unit and Overtimeboo will be an A-Rank. Per the leaks, Robin has the same appearance as it did in the 1.5 update, while Overtimeboo is dressed as an office worker in slippers and a neck pillow. Moreover, it is rumored that Overtimeboo will use overheated office computers as weapons. Zenless Zone Zero‘s 1.7 update is set to arrive around late April 2025.

HoYoverse has confirmed that Hugo Vlad is joining the Zenless Zone Zero playable roster in the 1.7 patch, and players could pair him with Robin once the Bangboo is released.
